Start with the condition, not a guessed diagnosis
Tell Trey where the problem is, when you first noticed it and whether it is changing. A sticking door, damaged wall or worn finish can each have more than one cause. Visible damage does not establish what is happening behind a surface.
Build a useful repair list
- List each room or outside area separately, with a short description of the issue.
- Mark safety concerns and damage that is still developing so they can be discussed first.
- Include photos showing the whole area and a close-up, plus any access restrictions.
Agree on what is included
Before proceeding, discuss what work fits TLC's scope, the materials involved and the finish you expect. Electrical, plumbing, structural or other specialist work is not promised here. Confirm separately whether a project requires an appropriately qualified trade.
For an unstable structure, active leak or other immediate hazard, keep clear of the affected area and arrange the appropriate assessment. This website is not an emergency response service.
What should I send first?
Your location, the list of repairs and photos of the visible condition are a useful start. Tell Trey whether this is a single task or several items you would like discussed together.

Common questions
Is there a minimum job size?
No minimum is published on this website. Send your list and Trey can tell you how he would approach it — small items are often easier to schedule when grouped together.
Can you look at something I can't identify?
Yes. Describe what you see, where it is and when it started. Photos of the whole area plus a close-up help a lot.
